Sushant Singh Rajput's GF Rhea Chakraborty Requests Home Minister Amit Shah To Initiate CBI Enquiry With Folded Hands, 'Want To Understand What Pressures Prompted Him To Take Such Step'
After one month of Sushant Singh Rajput's demise, his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty urges Home Minister Amit Shah for a CBI probe; makes an urgent appeal on her Twitter account.
Ever since Sushant Singh Rajput passed away, his girlfriend and actress Rhea Chakraborty was mum about her grief and pain. It was, however, only this week, on his first month death anniversary, that she took to Instagram and penned a heartwarming tribute and shared a couple of mushy pictures from their happy times. Now, in an unexpected turn of events, Rhea Chakraborty has taken to her Twitter account and requested for a CBI enquiry in Sushant's death case. She tagged Home Minister Amit Shah and asked for the same with folded hands.
Rhea, in her tweet, revealed how she has complete faith in the government. She wrote as Sushant's girlfriend and requested a CBI interference to know what kind of pressure made the actor take such a drastic step. Her first tweet read, "Respected @AmitShah sir , I’m sushants Singh Rajputs girlfriend Rhea chakraborty,it is now over a month since his sudden demise I have complete faith in the government, however in the interest of justice , I request you with folded hands to initiate a CBI enquiry."
Rhea continued, "I request you with folded hands to initiate a CBI enquiry into this matter . I only want to understand what pressures , prompted Sushant to take this step. Yours sincerely #satyamevajayate @AmitShah sir." She shared a similar plea on Instagram with Sushant's picture.

Earlier in the day, Rhea shared screenshots of getting abuses and rape threats after the actor's demise. She then promised to take action against all culprits. "I was called a gold digger ..I kept quiet I was called a murderer ....I kept quiet I was slut shamed ....I kept quiet But how does my silence give you the right to tell me that you will get me RAPED and MURDERED if I don’t commit suicide @mannu_raaut ? Do you realize the seriousness of what you have said? These are crimes, and by law no one, I repeat NO ONE should be subjected to this kind of toxicity and harassment. I request @cyber_crime_helpline @cybercrimeindia to please take necessary action. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH," wrote Rhea.
